Ricky Luc, School Aid here at Cardozo, graduated twelve years ago in 1996. Luc says that although Dozo is still a great school to be a part of, a lot of things have changed, because the students have changed so much since his time here. Luc remembered that twelve years ago, his generation, “listened and did the right thing,” and it was because of their respect that “we had all the freedom in the world.” “The kids nowadays have no respect and don’t listen,” Luc says, and that is why he thinks security has increased so much over the years to the point where we need security cameras... His freshman year in Cardozo, Ackerman participated in SING and described it as his favorite Cardozo experience despite the fact that he only got approximately 20 seconds of fame running across the stage playing a “flasher.” “After leaving Cardozo I realized how great it was and how much it had to offer. In my other high school, they offered no talent show, no SING, all they had was the chess club and the football team,” he added. Like many, Ackerman feels that most people aren’t aware of how much Cardozo has to offer... Read More |
